An introduction to the Shabab Radio project (Episode 1)
Welcome to the first episode of The Real Shabab, in this show we introduce the project leading to the establishment of Shabab FM in Birzeit. We do it with Gianni Toma from COSPE, an italian NGO promoting cooperation for development. introducing his organization and it’s activities and providing an overview of the activities of the radio.
We then analyze the situation in Palestine through a description by Mustafa Barghouti, founder of al Mubadara, the Palestinian National Initiative, recorded at a conference launching the World Social Forum 2008 global week of action, a week that saw hundreds of millions of people engaged in local actions to promote peace and justice throughout the world.
