The Israeli military offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip is being vigorously denounced by an increasingly active progressive Jewish movement all over the world.
What about Israel? Has the war sown divisions among Israeli population? Many are in favour and that’s a fact. Others agree with the Israeli pacifist movement . Others are very uncomfortable with the way in which war was carried out and with the extend to which diplomatic means were not exhausted to prevent it. A brief journey through Israel public opinion in regard of pacific movements and conflict in the West Bank.

Radio Shabab reports on some of the protests of January 2009 and gives voice to pacifist movements in Israel, where many militants are pacing up and down streets to make their fellow citizens aware of the drama experienced by the Palestinians.

Many are people who are very uncomfortable with the way in which war was carried out and with the extend to which diplomatic means were not exhausted to prevent it. Radio Shabab makes a report on some of the protests held in Europe against the latest war in the West Bank.
