In this episode we met Thomas Sommer, french activist of the International Civil Campaign for the Protection of Palestinian People (CCIPPP). The Campaign was born in June 2001, at the time when the colonial and repressive Israeli offensive went over to a new phase whose objectives was rapidly and openly declared: finish what had been started in 1948.
“We do many activities,” said Sommer “the most recent one is a new boycott campaign: we created an advocacy group explaining people in the supermarkets why we should boycott Israeli products”.

Checkpoint 303 is a Palestinian-Tunisian-French band. “The music we play is based upon the recordings performed in the streets of the occupied territories” told us two members of the group during their visit in Italy, in May 2009. “We use those sounds mixing them with electronic music. The goal is to speak in different ways about the daily life in Palestine”. In this episode, you will listen to “Calling Gaza”, one of the latest success of Checkpoint 303.
