Tuesday 2th July, The Free Gaza boat Spirit of Humanity is boarded by the Israeli navy while trying to sail to Gaza through international and Gazan waters. 25 of the Free Gaza boat passengers are kidnapped. Luckily, today they are free. “We don’t give up. We will go back” said to us Greta Berlin, of Free Gaza movement.

Human rights: Solar energy for the Shifa Hospital

The human rights group “Action for peace” is working to bring energy to Shifa Hospital, one of the main hospitals of Gaza. The engineer Andrea Micangeli, guest of this show, talk with us about this project. “We will do a photovoltaic system. It will guarantee the autonomy of some hours for the operational theatre in case of black-out”.

Akram Safari is a photographer and director. Born in Gerusalem in 1962, he studied cinema and video technologies in Italy, and later he got a degree in Art and Social Sciences in Birzeit. Today Safari lives in his  homeland Palestine. “I came back to follow my ideas” said the artist. Safari has been press photographer in the 70’s in Gerusalem, and in his 2001 movie which keeps being shown in Italy, “Songs of a narrow path”, he made a portray of his city after 30 years of occupation.
