Today we focus on the art of storytelling in the form of documentary. We reached over the phone Michela Sechi, italian journalist working at the nationally broadcast  Radio Popolare in Milan as well as opinionist on issues regarding the Middle East and the  Occupied Territories  for many italian magazines and newspapers. She tolk about her last screenplay , “Shooting Muhammad”, a documentary written and produced by her, realeased in 2009 and lately show in Rome within the Asian Film Fest.

[Episode 76]

The BugsLab is an informal organization of computer activists. The collective is working on an informatization and technology project together with the Ni’Lin Popular Committee against the apartheid wall.
In this episode we interviewed Nicolas, one of the BugsLab’s activists. “Six months ago we went in Ni’Lin and we met the committee. People told us that they needed a web site to communicate what is happening there. So in the last six month we have prepared the web site” said Nicolas. “Now we jut went back to Ni’Lin and we taught people how to use Linux - the operating system alternative to Windows and created by a community of people around the world - and how to improve privacy and freedom in the use of technologies”.

[Episode 75]

The name of the initiative is “Gaza meets Geneva Project”. The project started when Beatrice Guelpa and Nicolas Wadimoff went to Gaza, few weeks after the end of bombings, with the aim to produce a documentary. “During the trip” told us Beatrice “we met five young rappers. We became friends and when we went back to Geneva we had impression that we left them in a prison. At the end,we decided to put in place this project”.

Five rappers born in the violence and the war, who left Gaza for the first time, will make a contest with five rappers living in Geneva, the city of peace. Besides, the event is made by meetings, workshops, concerts.
