In this episode we speak again about the boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign (Bds), with the help of our guest, Yael Lerer.
Mrs Lerer is an Israeli publisher and an active partner of the <<Boycott from within campaign>>.
“I’have been an activist since I was a teenager. I saw that the racism in Israeli society is deeper and deeper. I think that the boycott is very important, because is the only effective instrument” said Mrs Lerer, “so, if I have to pay a price for boycott myself, I’m sure that the price that I will pay is much less that the price that palestinians are paying under the occupation”.

The boycott against the Israeli cultural institutions involved in the occupation is getting bigger and bigger. We talk about it with Uri Keller,a researcher who published a booklet about this issue for the Alternative Information Center on October 23. The center is a joint organization which involves Israelis and Palestinians in it’s effort for a just peace in Middle East.
“Academic boycott is the easiest type of boycott in Israel” said Keller “the academics in general are the ones more progressives; so, this boycott is one of the most effectivs”.

We keep talking about Anarchists against the wall (AATW), an Israeli group that working in cooperation with Palestinians in a joint popular struggle against the occupation. We interviewed two activists: Nadav and Oren.
Nadav talks about his first demonstration with the group and why he immediately chose to join the direct actions of the movement. Oren is a photographer and he uses his art as a weapon to fight against the occupation. Together with his fellows he organizes street exhibitions or simply pastes pictures in the streets depicting what goes on in Gaza.
