In last weeks Israel Defense Forces (Idf) made a crack down against popular committees and solidarity movements against the “separation fence”, also known as the “apartheid wall”. In this episode we talk about it with mister Jonathan Pollak, from the popular Struggle coordination committee. “Idf is going deep in palestinian territories to arrest some activist, another example of the real control that Anp has on own it’s territory. The arrests today are an escalation of an ongoing and extensive Israeli attempt to suppress the Palestinian popular resistance generally, and repress its leadership particularly” said Pollak.

In this episode we speak about what will change with the new EU hight representative for foreign affairs Baroness Catherine Ashton. We will do it with our guest Luisa Morgantini, former vice president of European Parliament and long term peace activist. First steps made by Baroness Ashton about Middle east conflict are incouraging, she called Israel for more effective effords towards peace. “She could become a good high representative, but now everybody of us must try to give her as much information as possible about the situation of Palestine” said Mrs. Morgantini.
