We interviewed Stephanie Westbrook, Codepink’s member. “We was 66 people, mostly from United States, we realized our government rules in financing Israeli occupation. In Gaza we saw the incredible
distruction caused by the conflict but, at the other side, we saw the amazing work done by the civil society in Gaza, the wonderful determination of the Palestinian people to continue the resistance”.

The Free Gaza Movement trip started the 25th June. In three days, the human rights organization will cover by boat 240 miles from Cyprus to Gaza in its eighth mission to break Israel’s siege on 1.5 million Palestinians living there.
“Our small yet committed group has already made five successful travels to Gaza, delivering the needed humanitarian supplies, and helping to decrease Gaza’s terrible isolation from the rest of the World” said Greta Berlin, a Free Gaza Movement’s activist. “We are confident that with the universal outrage over Israel’s massacres in Gaza, we will be able to send a flotilla of ships to shatter the siege and deliver a message of international hope and solidarity to the people of Palestine”.
